The inspiration for Scallop derives from observations of objects that are grouped on low tables.
Each of the variations includes a recessed area to help frame and organise objects like a vase, magazine, book or your phone. The sunken area also provides a border to keep smaller objects from falling off onto the floor. The uniquely v-shaped tubular legs give balance and lightness whilst still complementing the soft-edged plateau top. The name ‘Scallop’ means ‘To edge with a series of curved projections’.
