London Design Festival 2017

For the London Design Festival 2017 Samuel Wilkinson studio will be showing a new LED lighting collection, CRINKLE, and an installation called Paper curtain.

Crinkle is new series of linear LED lamps with an irregular crinkled surface. The lamp was designed as antithesis to the usual sterile offering of linear lighting products so is very suited to both domestic and contract markets.  The outer surface of the extruded aluminium shroud has an asymmetrical pattern that will reflect and distort the light across the rippled surface.

The collection will be exhibited within in a new stand / installation concept also designed by the studio for DECODE.  Called Paper curtain, the installation will consist of 3m pleated curtains that are hung around the various lighting collections. The curtains will be handmade from differently coloured rolls of photography paper.

21-24 September / Stand B21 / Design Junction 2017, Granary Sq, King’s Cross, N1C 4AA
